Llançà Port Escappe

It all began with a shipwreck

According to legend, after surviving a very strong storm, Joan Lluís Tesserres promised to build a chapel wherever they could moor the ship. This place was the Port de Llançà.This is the origin of the chapel of Santa Maria del Port, many years ago.  Accustomed to looking for clues, the first one that caught my attention was an inscription on the arch of the door of one of the chapel's entrances, with a number that was the same whether you read it upside down or right-side up. It's curious, isn't it.

Do you know what the number is?
